The Other Side

Now, this post is for those of you who haven't really been picked on, who need motivation, or just plain care. If you haven't been bullied or bullied others, then it's time to know what it's like on the other side... first of all, I have been bullied all my life so I know what it's like. In preschool, I had no friends, I was alone because no one liked me. Apparantly I was too weird... Kindergarten, i got one friend... a dwarf friend, no one else liked her so I asked if I could play with her and we've been friends ever since. Now, throughout elementary, I was always picked on. Do you know what it feels like to be the target of everyones amusement? It wasn't fun. By 3rd grade, I learned to keep my emotions under control and to bottle up my sadness...  I became tough and not very social. sure i made more friends, but not ones that lasted. By grade 6, I thought everything would be different. I was right, but wrong at the same time. The bullying only got more harsh, but less frequent. Why? I had a boyfriend who wrestled and did push ups for fun. Except he was in another class so thats when they picked on me. By grade 7, it was over and the bullying became extreme. Having been bullied for nine years, i barely ever cried, but i came home crying pretty often that year. It was like each day, I died a little inside! It wasn't fun... At some points, I thought about stuff like stealing, or trying alcoholic drinks. Don't worry, they were just momentary elapses, I didn't actually do anything like that... Now is grade 8. I have realized throughout the year, i am a lucky girl. I discovered my own definition of beauty, and I am as confident as ever... Don't bully others, and if you do... think of the other side of the story.

why make this?

Well, one night I was just lying in bed trying to fall asleep when, BAM! It hit me, why not make a blog just to deal with proiblems that are underestimated, or, not know, or overlooked? so I'm doing just that! I really do hope everyone at least takes a look at this and see's how big the small things actually are...
